Sweet Penny

After a horribly tragic accident, our sweet Penny went home to heaven. 

Are hearts are completely broken, but we are so thankful to know that we will be reunited one day. 

We love you sweetheart. Miss you so so much.

Pine Wood Derby

Brandon and John have been working hard! The race is next Tuesday and Brandon is excited to experience this for the first time. I love that my guys got to bond over sand paper and drill bits. So cute to see them working together. :)

First Cereal!

Brighton was very excited to start rice cereal! Look at her examining that box!

She's just dreaming about how yummy that cereal is going to be...

TERRIBLE!

4 months!

Brighton is now 4 months old! She is getting bigger (12 lb 14 oz - 24 inches long) but our binker is still a tiny one. She LOVES to look at herself in the mirror. Everyday after we get her dressed, I stand her up in front of the mirror and ask "Do you like your pretty outfit?" She goes crazy with coos, and ahhhhs and every other sweet baby noise there is. :) Brandon is truly her favorite person. She could stare at him forever. He can make her smile and laugh without even trying. Brighton loves when there is a lot going on...picking up brother from school, taking a walk in the front pack or watching a Baby Einstein video. She likes toys now and always wants to be holding and chewing something. We call her our Tin Solider because she never wants to sit! She is always super stiff and wants to be in the standing position. It's hilarious trying to "bend" her so we can put her in the car seat! 

At her 4 month immunization appointment we were informed that she has mild Eczema on her legs. 

Man is little sweetie keeps us on our toes!

Christmas 2011- Part 2

Our trips "home" are always wonderful. This one was extra wonderful because it lasted 10 days! Here are some of the highlights.

SUPER SWEET Angie let Penny hang out at her house our entire trip!! We didn't have to worry about her one bit! She and Lola played hard the entire 10 days. 

We took many bike rides to the pier. SO FUN that Brandon can ride a grown up bike. :)

Parker made everyone wands for Christmas! He is awesome!
