Easter Morning

It was a wonderful, beautiful Easter Sunday. We enjoyed having TWO kids to look for eggs, okay just one still. Maybe next year she can join in the fun. :)

By the look on her face she is not too sure about this whole "Easter Basket" thing.

I think that Brighton wanted Brandon's basket more.

Right after I took this picture, I was bringing them safely back into the house, only to trip on Brighty's basket and land -hands down- on the table...breaking every single one. Bummer!

Our poor attempt to get another photo in these Easter clothes on the actual day. Didn't work so well.

Oh how I wish his eyes were open!

Family Easter Pictures!

We had an awesome lady in our ward take our family pics for Easter. So fun. :)

So bright! He could barely open his eyes!

Easter eggs!

We had our cute neighbor boys over for egg decorating. It was a fun. big. mess. ;)

We used this marbleizing technique that required vegetable oil...not a good idea! They did turn out pretty though. :)

We added glitter to some, just because!

Surprise eggs!

"Resurrection rolls." The marshmallow that is wrapped inside the croissant melts away when it is baked...so it is left empty like the tomb. We LOVED these! Totally became a new tradition this year.

Open house and 3rd Grade Sing!

We were so excited to see all that Brandon has been working on in school. Wow! Third grade is a HUGE jump from second! It's a big bummer that I have not been able to help out this year (or sub) in Brandon's class (because of a little cute stinker), so it was extra neat to see his classroom and spend some time letting him show us around. Above him is his patriotic windsock. :)
