Mother's Day

I got to spend Mother's Day with these two amazing people.

Birthday Boy!

May 12 was Brandon's 9th birthday. Hard to believe he is that old. Time sure does fly by. Brandon is an amazing boy. He is sweet and loving, smart and handsome. He really is the best. 

We celebrated in a BIG way this year by having a Game Truck come to our house!

The kiddos had two full hours of game time. It was a blast!

Lots going on these days...

 We have had a super busy schedule the past couple of weeks! 

Dennis, Judy, Julee, Donovan and Kelsee came to visit us for a short but wonderful weekend. 

Of course we went to Jelly Belly, AGAIN! :) We are total bean-ologists now. 

We also went crawdad fishing.

Brighty tried the swings for the first time. She was not a fan!

We also celebrated Bran's birthday. 

The kiddos did a lot of playing and the grown-ups did a lot of visiting. It was perfect!!

Then Brandon, Brighty and I headed to Salt Lake for my grandpa's funeral. 

It was a beautiful service for an amazing man. He just turned 100.

After the funeral, we had a nice lunch at Aunt Pat's home. It was amazing to see so many of my cousins, aunts and uncles that I haven't seen in forever.

 It was super neat to take a walk through it. The lady that owns it is super nice and understanding. She let us in and showed us around. Very special.

Later we headed to Papa John's condo to hang out.

Aunt Julie got Bran a set of golf clubs, golf bag, balls, a glove, visor and a putting green for his birthday!! He was so excited and LOVED testing it out right there in the condo!

Brandon got to pick a Build-A-Bear for his birthday. He decided on a cute little sheep. It was so fun to have a little extra time with Nana and Aunt Julie before we had to go.

Poor Brighty had a rough flight home. She had been sick for the past while and congestion on a flight is no fun at all! Luckily, Aunt Georgie was on the flight. Brandon got to go sit in the back of the plane with her and didn't have to hear the fussing!
