first and last day

I don't think I will ever get over how much kiddos change in one school year. This is Brandon on his first day of third grade...

 and this is Brandon on his last day of third grade! The change is so crazy!!! Such a grown up kid.

Summertime is here!

9 Months!

Brighton is almost nine months old. She is such a character and "talks" all day long! Boy does that girl have a LOT to say. ;) She is 17lbs. and can wear 9 month clothes. She gets all around the house now and can "cruise" holding onto furniture. She always wants to be out and about and loves it when Brandon's friends come over. She just starting waving bye bye and got two new teeth this month!

First Real Swim!

 We took Brighty, Brandon and his buddies to the pool for a fun afternoon swim. Brighty was not too sure about the water at first, but she grew to like it. Lathering her in SPF 100 was not enough, she had to wear that silly hat too!! I just get so worried about her ultra fair baby skin.

The three amigos...these boys hang out a least 3 days a week. :)

I love that crazy long wisp of hair on top of her head. Even though it's only about 8 hairs total, I can't bring myself to cut it!

Memorial Day!

We went cherry and strawberry picking for Memorial Day.

After fruit picking, we went to our friends house for a pool party. I was a great way to finish the day.

another trip

Yet another great trip back home. John's buddy was getting married so we ventured down again and had a blast.

8 Months!

Brighton is 8 months old! She has learned to crawl, pull up to standing, "share," scream when you take away something she wants and climb up our one stair. She is so much fun and we love how her little personality is developing. She is quite the character. Her favorite foods are bananas, pears, bagels and pizza crust. Yes, we gave her a pizza crust once and that was it! She has loved it ever since. She is a super explorer and gets into everything now. Brandon remains her favorite person in the world and we are all just fine with that. :)
