Easter eggs!

We had our cute neighbor boys over for egg decorating. It was a fun. big. mess. ;)

We used this marbleizing technique that required vegetable oil...not a good idea! They did turn out pretty though. :)

We added glitter to some, just because!

Surprise eggs! 

"Resurrection rolls." The marshmallow that is wrapped inside the croissant melts away when it is baked...so it is left empty like the tomb. We LOVED these! Totally became a new tradition this year. 

Open house and 3rd Grade Sing!

We were so excited to see all that Brandon has been working on in school. Wow! Third grade is a HUGE jump from second! It's a big bummer that I have not been able to help out this year (or sub) in Brandon's class (because of a little cute stinker), so it was extra neat to see his classroom and spend some time letting him show us around. Above him is his patriotic windsock. :)

The Third Grade Sing was awesome. Brandon was smiling the whole time. :)

The Milius Family + Spring Break = FUN!

We had the BEST time when Greg, Angie and Lily came to stay with us for their Spring Break! It was 7 days of pure bliss! WE LOVE YOU MILIUS FAMILY!

Some of the things we did are,

make cotton candy...

 make snow cones and feed them to Brighty (just the ice, no flavoring!)...

went to Jelly Belly (of course!)...

tasted "rotten egg" jelly beans...

played "the Twister" as Lily likes to call it...  :)

went to Ghirardelli and ate BIG sundaes and shakes...

went to jail (we were going to go to Alcatraz but it just didn't happen. Next time for sure!)...

stayed up late every night talking, ate the best breakfast ever (thanks to chef Greg...our house still smells like maple bacon!), laughed a ton

and just had the best time being together. Thank you for spending your vacation time here with us! 

WE LOVE YOU!!!!

6 Months!

I can hardly believe that our sweet lil Brighty is six months old today. It has flown by. She has changed SO much this past month. From getting her first two teeth, to really showing us her funny personality...it has been a great past few weeks. She gets weighed on Monday at her six month shots appointment, so we are not sure how much she weighs right now. However, she is wearing 6 month clothes and is getting bigger every day! One of her favorite things to do continues to be standing. She just can't get enough. :) As for sitting up alone, she is getting close! Each time I sit her up, she stays for a few seconds then falls to one side. :) She likes solids a bit more now. Squash is her favorite. These days she is less and less fussy and more and more fun. Yay for that!
