Time to back track a little bit! Even though we were super busy this summer with the wedding, somehow we managed to fit in a little bit of good summer fun. While we were visiting John up north in June, we did some mini golfing and went to the Aquarium of the Bay.
The 4th of July is John's birthday, so we celebrated down in Newport Beach. What an awesome day to celebrate!
Fireworks were a must! That was John's one request on his special day. :)
Our first 4th of July together!
Aunt Julie and Brandon! She is such a wonderful Aunt. It was awesome to have Julie, John, Angie and Greg all there to help us celebrate.
Brandon did not have a bike to ride at my mom's, so John pulled him in the trailer down to the pier.
Waiting for his yummy milkshake!
Many days of our summer were spent like this...relaxing at the beach with family.
Brandon and his cousins.
Grandpa took us to see Peter Pan live at the end of July. Brandon was completely mesmerized...he LOVED it!
Swimming with friends is always a favorite.
Our ward had a pioneer themed primary activity in the park. Brandon competed in the watermelon eating contest. He didn't win but he came close!
To end the summer, Brandon got to go with his Nana and Papa John on a special trip to Utah while John and I were on our honeymoon. Brandon made an adventure book of all the activities he did on his trip. It was so fun to come home and read all about what he had done! He got to help celebrate London's birthday while we were gone. I was so sad to miss it, but happy that Brandon got to be there.
Traveling with Nana is EXTRA fun! First class seats and a trip to the cockpit! What a wonderful summer!
