7 Months!

Brighty is seven months now and she is learning something new every day. She can sit up and play with her toys so well. She can "crawl" but only backwards! It's more of a scooting move, but it gets her all over the place. She is eating solids a little better these days, and she just started to eat the veggie and fruit puffs. She definately prefers real solid food over mushy baby food! Bananas are probably her favorite and she enjoys smashing them all over her highchair tray. She loves people and loves being busy. She is such a sweetheart, although she did NOT want me to take her "7 month pics." She gave me the hardest time and then it ended with her grabbing the sticker off her onsie and eating it. Oh Brighty, how we love you!

Spring Break Part 1

We had a wonderful visit with our families during spring break. It was extra exciting because it was Brighton's first time on an airplane! With the help of my sweet son, it was a smooth flight. 

Brandon gave her a bottle of water on the plane. She doesn't really drink from a bottle...she just plays around with it and gets a little liquid here and there. 

 London and Nana were at the airport to pick us up! 

It was great to get some time to play. 

We got Monster Shaved Ice and they LOVED it. It was so big they had to save half in the freezer. :)

Brighty loved the beach. I was a little worried about her super fair baby skin. We were not out there for very long!

The girls had a toenail painting party on the sidewalk. Even Brighton got her toes painted for the first time. 

She liked the polish so much, she wanted to eat it!

 One night we got to sleep at Lily's house. The cousins had a blast together.

Brighty giving her Papa John some love. They have this special connection that just melts me.

We took a ride to the pier to get a shake at Ruby's. Always a fun thing to do!

 Beautiful Nana and two grandkids. They just love her. 

Easter Morning

It was a wonderful, beautiful Easter Sunday. We enjoyed having TWO kids to look for eggs, okay just one still. Maybe next year she can join in the fun. :)

By the look on her face she is not too sure about this whole "Easter Basket" thing. 

I think that Brighton wanted Brandon's basket more.

Right after I took this picture, I was bringing them safely back into the house, only to trip on Brighty's basket and land -hands down- on the table...breaking every single one. Bummer!

Our poor attempt to get another photo in these Easter clothes on the actual day. Didn't work so well.

Oh how I wish his eyes were open!

We had an awesome lady in our ward take our family pics for Easter. So fun. :)

 The kids are not looking but I love it anyway!
