Brooklyn's Blessing Day

Brooky's blessing day was so wonderful. We got super lucky and had Julie, John, Sherri and Renny all in town!! We felt so special having a ton of family there. It was a beautiful, HOT day. ;)

Seriously it was way too hot to do pictures outside.

nursery, 1st day of 5th grade and our anniversary

Here is Brighty in her new nursery class. I am so so grateful that our new ward has fabulous nursery leaders! Yay for that blessing. She is doing pretty good so far, she still doesn't want me to leave though. Ugh! We will just take it slow and hopefully I will be able to get to my own class once in a while. :)

Holy moly I have a fifth grader!! What?! He is so big!! Love my boy.

We went out for a quick,  yummy date on our 3rd anniversary.

We LOVE the Cheesecake Factory! The Oreo cheesecake is to die for!!!

Santa Ana Zoo!

We had a fun trip to the zoo with Nana and Papa John. Our summer went by WAY too fast and was deemed the "summer of babies," so needless to say, it was not a whole heck of a lot of fun...at least not for my Bran. So little excursions like this one made it memorable.

sweet moments

Sometimes I can't believe how hard it is to be a mom. It's really really hard!!! But then there are those moments that are amazing. Those are the moments that make it all worth it. For me hands down seeing my kids play together or love each other are those "moments." I adore seeing them love each other. 

Unfortunately for Miss Brooky these "loving" moments are maybe not the greatest times in her life right now. She gets loved pretty hard! 

Two months old, my lil painter and story time!

Here is Brooky at two months old. Such a sweetie! 

Aunt Angie brought over some face paints one day. Let's just the the kids has a GREAT time!! I just let Brighty paint whatever she wanted...her face, arms and the bathroom were very colorful! (That dark mark by her eye is a bad boo boo from when she fell on her face. My poor girl gets hurt almost daily!!)

 We started going to story time at the library. Brighty LOVES it!! I love that it's free and well put together. The teacher is great. We look forward to Mondays. :)

Lemme tell ya, it's tough to get this girl to sit for any length of time. Well,  she actually sat the whole duration of the class. (Just the first class that is.) ;)
