Mt. Wanda hike

It was a beautiful day for a hike. Mt. Wanda is super close to us and it's a pretty quick jaunt up the mountain. So we decided to grab Subway and head out. Brighty did NOT want to stay in her stroller so I ended up carrying her most of the way, ugh! Brandon was a great sport and pushed that big stroller much of the time. I just love that boy!

 He is also quite the photographer! He just snapped away and took a ton of pictures while we were out.

I love this one that Bran captured of Brighty's teeth! Those two top teeth just kill me! (She's got bread in her mouth, it just looks like she has molars!)

I love this one too. She adores her "Buh buh" and wont take her eyes off him.

I love being able to hang out with my sweetie Brandon all day. Summer is so special.

Daddy's Day!

Here is John and his kiddos on Father's day. 

He is such a wonderful dad. I am so thankful to have found him. 

and Summer begins...

To kick off our Summer we headed down to So Cal, and thanks to Aunt Julie, we ran a race! Julie, Becca, Parker and I ran a 5K and Brandon and London ran a 1K. It was a great morning!

These kiddos sure do love their Aunt Julie. It's all thanks to her that we had this cool experience. She's the best.

We celebrated Becca, the high school graduate!! I'm so bummed I didn't get a pic of her and I together. 

We went to Ruby's for shakes. 

Nana got the kids this fun little raft. They had such a great time.

It was a fabulous week with family. Can't wait to see them again for the Fourth of July!

first and last day

I don't think I will ever get over how much kiddos change in one school year. This is Brandon on his first day of third grade...

 and this is Brandon on his last day of third grade! The change is so crazy!!! Such a grown up kid.

Summertime is here!

9 Months!

Brighton is almost nine months old. She is such a character and "talks" all day long! Boy does that girl have a LOT to say. ;) She is 17lbs. and can wear 9 month clothes. She gets all around the house now and can "cruise" holding onto furniture. She always wants to be out and about and loves it when Brandon's friends come over. She just starting waving bye bye and got two new teeth this month!

First Real Swim!

 We took Brighty, Brandon and his buddies to the pool for a fun afternoon swim. Brighty was not too sure about the water at first, but she grew to like it. Lathering her in SPF 100 was not enough, she had to wear that silly hat too!! I just get so worried about her ultra fair baby skin.

The three amigos...these boys hang out a least 3 days a week. :)

I love that crazy long wisp of hair on top of her head. Even though it's only about 8 hairs total, I can't bring myself to cut it!
