Christmas 2011- Part 1

I took so many pictures this Christmas...it was hard to decide what to blog and what to leave out!

Here are my two little sweeties with Santa. I just LOVE our malls Christmas display. It is so beautiful! Brandon thought he might be getting too big to sit on the "mall Santa's" lap...he knows that he's not the REAL one anyway. However with a little pleading he decided to do it for me. Thanks bud! I had to wake Brighton up from a deep sleep for this picture, hence the glazed over look!

Our "Elf on the Shelf"named "Elfie" was up to it again this year! Each morning Brandon would find him doing some super silly things. This is what we found one morning...he made a snow angel in the flour he spilt! After school, Brandon found him near the tub all clean, wrapped in a towel! Ha! He is so funny!! He also followed us down to So Cal and we found him playing with cousins Lily's Elf! They had a snowball fight with marshmallows. ;) Fun stuff.

We celebrated Christmas a week early with just our little family. It was great that Santa could come on the 17th for us! He is awesome.

Brandon's favorite gift.

Brighton was loving her gifts.

Yes, yes we are a very silly family. Brandon wanted a "grape hat" (don't know why but he was on this MAJOR grape kick. He wanted grape everything!) So I took it one step further and made us all fruit hats. Brighty is our little lemon. ;)

Harry the Penguin had to have a hat too.

My fruit guys being crazy...love it.

Man he loves his baby. It's so precious.

The boys playing with their new guns.

John had a great time putting together one of Brandon's presents. Ha! It was such a pain!
Going to the temple to see the lights, playing Secret Santa to some of Brandon's friends and reading special Christmas scriptures/stories every night were just a few of the things that made this season memorable for us.

Now on to part 2!

  1. Sandy. It looks like both boys had a good christmas. You should just call them partners in crime. Too fun.
